PBS has earned seven nominations for the 2026 Wildscreen Panda Awards, widely regarded as the highest honors in international wildlife storytelling across film, television, and digital content.
HUMAN FOOTPRINT received two nominations, while the upcoming NATURE special “Tiger Island” earned three, for a combined five nominations across PBS's General Audience Programming. The new PBS KIDS series WOWSABOUT received two nominations in the Children's Panda Award and Producer/Director Panda Award categories.
Home to award-winning science and nature programming, PBS continues its commitment to connecting viewers with the natural world through powerful stories of discovery, wildlife, and conservation. These recognized programs are available now for streaming on PBS.org and the PBS app, along with PBSKids.org and the PBS KIDS app.
The winners will be announced at the Wildscreen Panda Awards ceremony, the closing event of the Wildscreen Festival, in Bath, UK on Thursday, October 22, 2026. For the full list of 2026 nominees, visit: https://wildscreen.org/wildscreen-panda-awards-2026-nominees-announced/.
