GUIDELINES FOR ON-AIR ANNOUNCEMENTS PROMOTING PROGRAM-RELATED GOODS AND SERVICES
Announcements promoting the sale or availability of program-related goods and services* on PBS programs** must conform with the following rules. Programs accepted by PBS for national distribution with announcements that do not conform with these rules will be returned to the producer for editing if time permits or will be edited by PBS at the producer's expense.

Rule 8: Financial Considerations, including:
- Price
- Revenue Share
- Distribution of Revenue
- Reporting on Revenue Distributions
- Identity of Offerors
Rule 9: Operational Issues, including:
- Editing
- Placement on Programs
- Placement on Program Promos
- Program Length
- Subsequent Releases
Rule 10: Fulfillment
Rule 11: Names
On-air announcements promoting the sale or availability of program-related goods and services (generally referred to herein as "offers") must conform with the following rules. Programs accepted by PBS for national distribution with announcements that do not conform with these rules will be returned to the producer for editing if time permits or will be edited by PBS at the producer's expense.
