3-4 weeks before the party: Print and send out your invitations. Ask people to RSVP at least one week before the party to help you plan for food and supplies.
2 weeks before the party: Make a list of everything you need to buy or make for the party.
1 week before the party: Shop for, print and prepare any non-perishable items. Make it a group effort by encouraging your child to help with the decorations if the party isn't a surprise. Create the favors, table cover, pom poms, and character cutouts, and gather all items needed for various party activities.
A few days before the party: Finish printing or making any decorations and party games or favors. Confirm RSVPs.
The day before the party: Bake and decorate bunny cupcakes, and prepare other food items that will hold overnight. If your party is inside, go ahead and hang up decorations and set up party stations. If your party is outside, schedule time the morning of the party to set up decorations and activity stations.
