Camden high school welcomes back students after 18 months

‘There was a lot of distraction at home,’ said one student on the first day back at school

As school officials in various New Jersey districts clean up the wreckage after Tropical Storm Ida, in Camden on Tuesday teachers eagerly welcomed back students to in-person learning, a greeting they had been waiting to make since March 2020. “What we’ve done is make sure all our staff members are trained on what are expectations are,” said Superintendent Katrina McCombs.
