Ben Loeterman has worked in documentary films since 1979 as an associate producer, investigative reporter, and producer/director. His programs have ranged from investigative reports to essay films to news specials. His last FRONTLINE program was the investigative biography, "Who Was Lee Harvey Oswald?"

In addition to his work for FRONTLINE, Loeterman has produced films for THE PRIZE, based on Daniel Yergin's Pulitzer prize-winning book about oil, and for PEOPLE'S CENTURY, a retrospective of the 20th century. Both are WGBH/BBC co-productions. He recently completed "The Michael Rockefeller Story" for The Discovery Channel.
