This is so true—-Jesus was teaching how Judaism was to be practiced and how people had strayed away from it.

The thing I do not understand is how and why people came to a conclusion that he is holy….he was a man who was a teacher. The holy part did not come till the Council of Nicene (some 300 years later) said he was holy and they made up the concept of the trinity. I guess it was to instill more control over the people by the church.

You can’t ask people to want to learn from a people who believe only half the truth and will not even give a reason as to why they think its the truth. The Israelite s were and are the chosen people to bring freedom to the promised seed of Abraham through Jesus the Christ. But the Bible says that all nations will be blessed in Genesis 18:18. I think that learning from both is what we should do if only one party is to learn from another because they are the lesser then that is pride. So saying we must learn of Jesus the person when it is refused to learn of the divinity of Christ. Is like saying before you jump off a building without a parachute you need to learn about gravity ” the ground is hard” and that is all that is given before the jump.
