It is just me and how I feel. But I am uncomfortable with a woman clergy—-be it Christian, Jew, or whatever.

The reason we’re uncomfortable with this human authorized liturgical activity is our conscious. Even before we’re saved we know the difference between right and wrong. As children we are instinctively upset when we see another child receive punishment. Why? We fear our wrongs. Paul writes in the Book of Romans of how God uses the Law (Torah – first 5 books of the Bible) to illuminate our sin and our need of salvation. Once saved we grow by hearing God speak (reading His Bible) and when we are exposed to activity that rejects God’s authority (I TImothy 3:1-7) we are made aware through the Holy Spirit and given support, correction, and instruction from God’s Word (II Timothy 3:14-17). What we feel is only important when it is the result of feeling what God feels through the Holy Spirit.

There’s a James E. Horton who teaches psychology at UVA. I certainly hope that isn’t you, as you obviously have no understanding of how the mind works.
