Arlington, VA; October 17, 2023 -- The Critics Choice Association (CCA) announced the nominees for the Eighth Annual Critics Choice Documentary Awards (CCDA), honoring the year’s finest achievements in documentaries released in theaters, on TV, and on major digital platforms, as determined by the voting of qualified CCA members. FRONTLINE and POV stood out among nominees, with both receiving a “Best Ongoing Documentary Series” nomination. The winners will be revealed at a Gala Event on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at The Edison Ballroom in Manhattan.
