The committee is considering two articles of impeachment introduced by Democrats. They charge President Donald Trump with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
Partisan tension took over the House Judiciary Committee’s second public impeachment hearing on Monday.
Goldman laid out the Democrats’ case for impeachment and outlined the findings in an impeachment report put together by the House Intelligence, Oversight and Foreign Affairs Committees.
“The impeachment inquiry is clearly an orchestrated effort to upend our political system,” Castor said.
