Clip | 4m 8s
A growing personal collection leads to a playable arcade museum.
John Yates began buying and fixing arcade games in college, growing his personal collection to around 1500. After a startup business venture in California failed, John moved back to central Illinois and renovated one of his storage buildings in McLean. Initially unsure of what to do with it, he eventually opened Arcadia, a playable arcade museum, which soon grew into a viable business.
