Western Farmers Electric Cooperative now has 18 sites across the state where solar power is being generated. Just over 50-megawatts of solar energy is now flowing through the Co-ops, distribution network. Among the sites are 13 Solar Gardens, smaller sites feeding individual communities across the state.
