Budget cuts may mean fewer troopers on Oklahoma highways. The Department of Public Safety is asking for a six million dollar supplemental appropriation, saying without it, they may have to start furloughing troopers. House Appropriations and Budget Chair Leslie Osborn says the request is being taken seriously, but warns the state is already facing a budget hold of as much as 600 million dollars.
