Raymond Luczak –the “c” is silent-- grew up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, went to school at Gallaudet University in Washington DC and for the past decade he has lived in the Twin Cities. Luczak is a poet, a playwright and a filmmaker. His work –including today’s poem “Birthright”—often deals head on with his personal journey in being a Deaf gay man.
