Many think of Patricia Hampl as an memoir writer and essayist. But two of her first three books were collections of verse. In this video from 1982 Hampl reads her poem “Ice Age” set to images of Minnesota’s Lake Superior shore. This was one of several times Hampl read her work on Twin Cities PBS in the early 1980s.
