- I think it's so important for San Diegans to learn about our region's history because they will be more connected to their community.

And not only that, they will also learn more about themselves.

In history, we say that if you don't know where you come from, you don't know where you're going.

You have to know history so that you know who you are so that you know where you're going.

And so for me, not only is it a passion for me to learn more about history, the region's history as well, but it helps you learn more about yourself, about your identity, your values, and who you are as a person.

When I started producing historic places, I held, I felt much more complete.

A lot of it is because of the stories that we cover, stories about women of color, women, the first people of Southern California, these, these groups of people that don't necessarily, or have not necessarily had a place in history.

It's sort of been erased or overlooked or just not paid attention to.

And so for me it's just really important and exciting to be covering and telling more about the region's history, and it has changed me completely.
