... matter of faith ...

September 16,2003

who's to know that what they tell us is true or not. its really a matter of faith, and i lack it.

Royce, OH Disagree

... TV to be very biased ...

September 16,2003

I find that most of the news media on Broadcast TV to be very biased towards the liberal agenda.

Dan, SC Strongly Disagree

... give us both sides ...

September 16,2003

you never hear about the positive or good side of what the u.s. is doing worldwide much less in afganistan or iraq. media selling out. our citizens and military deserve more respect and support. i hope we, as a populous are not so ignorant to believe that what we see on tv is gospel. i would like a bit of reality tv about the good side. i dont think were doing this struggle in vain and achieving positive reseults. all we hear on tv is negative. why not give us, the american people, both sides. there r truly alot of good things going on in afganistan and iraq. why not be egalitarian? oh, i forgot....ad sales...do-do-me.....doh!

, NY Strongly Disagree

... reporters are pawns ...

September 16,2003

i have zero confidence in american media. i have to look to other nations for media covrage on my own country. media is control and reporters are trusted pawns

John, DC Disagree

... I'm watching something else ...

September 16,2003

O'Reiley said most Americans view TV with the remote in their hand. I do and as of 9:31, I'm watching something else. Should have switched you off sooner.

Joseph, WV Disagree

... politically aligned ...

September 16,2003

Media is politically aligned, rather than "fact" oriented.

Laurie, CT Strongly Disagree

... important to teach ...

September 16,2003

As both a reader, and a teacher, I look carefully in any story, to see the references reporters use, and to note whether the references are such that can be check by my own research. I think it is important to teach students to do this.

Peggy, TN Strongly Disagree

... It's pandering ...

September 16,2003

The media only covers half the story and unless you are a total news junkie you really have no idea of whats going on. Furthermore, they report favorably if they think the public wants to hear something favorably, and vice versa. Thats not journalism. It's pandering.

Barry, NY Strongly Disagree

... The media is terrible ...

September 16,2003

The news today was shown as totally biased by a comment by that man from Newsweek. His comment, "The news is to take an adversarial position against power." That is the most disgusting comment I have ever heard and 100% lie. The news is to report truth not be strictly adversarial and that is why the "big three networks" are not to be trusted or given any credibility! They are enemies of everything truly American. Truth and justice for all! That includes the"powers that be." The media is terrible!

Lorie, TX Agree

... credibillity, is a given ...

September 16,2003

To me, credibillity, is a given. It is the insulting premise of content that I am concerned with. In other words, the repetition. Like there is nothing else to report.
