Lillian Du, GA Strongly Agree

... was Founded on these Moral Beliefs ...

January 27,2004

Our Country was Founded on these Moral Beliefs, and if MORE people were abiding by them, we would have lower crime rates, fewer prisons, fewer divorces, fewer suicides, and a GREATER nation.

Melonie, FL Strongly Agree

... our children in which is our future ...

January 27,2004

"We were created in God's image and if we continue to keep taking God out of our nation we are bound to do nothing but fall" look at what it has all ready done. Look at our children in which is our future. There is only one way and that is with the Father, son and the Holy Ghost. Keep praying everyone!!!!!

John, NY Strongly Disagree

... public office should be held accountable ...

January 27,2004

A person's belief is fundamental to their understanding of the truth. And anyone in a public office should be held accountable to the truth. If those in public office can't be trusted to tell the truth, our government will fail.

Les, TX Strongly Disagree

... Humans are capable ...

January 27,2004

Some day it will become clear that there is no god, never was a god and never will be . get over it. Humans are capable of devising and living by the rules needed w/ out creating a supernatural being.

Diane, TX Disagree

... morals are based on my religious ...

January 27,2004

I am religious to a point. I know what I need to know, and apply that into my life. Some call it morality, others like myself, call it the right way. My morals are based on my religious principals. I do believe in freedom of religion, but I do NOT believe that someones beliefs should be thrust upon an individual that does not wish to be subjected to it.

Thelma, OK Strongly Agree

... founding fathers understood ...

January 27,2004

Our founding fathers understood that a democracy will survive only if the people ascribe to and practice high moral ideals...when the citizens no longer have a sense of high morals, there will no longer be a democracy in the United States of America!

Mark, ME Strongly Agree

... for our protection ...

January 27,2004

God's standards are for our protection. With standards constantly changing we need to have something to hold on to that does not change. He (God) is the same yesterday, today and tomrrow.

Charles, VA Strongly Agree

... sufficient guide ...

January 27,2004

I believe God's word to be true and trustworthy and therefore a sufficient guide to me for what is right and wrong.

Darrin, GA Strongly Disagree

... religion should be kept out ...

January 27,2004

i feel all religion should be kept out of govement their apocalyptic view of the world is dangerous to healthy culture.

Al, MT Strongly Disagree

... meandering contradiction ...

January 27,2004

why do you need a god or religion to tell you what to do? can't you think for yourself? isn't obvious what is right and wrong? the bible is a meandering contradiction filled with murder and lies

Cyndie, DE Strongly Disagree

... my own moral judgment. ...

January 27,2004

I have the right to not believe in God. I base my daily decisions on my own moral judgment.

Sonia Flor, GA Strongly Agree

... practice my faith in God ...

January 27,2004

Although "religion" is not the reason that I practice my faith in God, I strongly agree that this country was founded on the Word of God and should continue in it.

David, TX Strongly Agree

... Everyone has the right to express ...

January 27,2004

I believe that my christian beliefs are very important, not only to myself, but to this nation. These beliefs express the morals of our countries and sets the foundation of our very nation. To take it away would be taking away our freedoms and our rights, which is what we fought for in the first place. If we are to take beliefs away, that would be hypocritical, because atheists themselves have beliefs, is the government implying taking away beliefs and personal opinion away from the nation? That notion is foolish and wrong. Everyone has the right to express what they believe, and I believe that Christianity should not be taken away in any form.

Thomas, TX Strongly Agree

... established with God over Government ...

January 27,2004

Christian values are American values .....laws were based on christianity and to throw out Christianity is Anti-American based on the fact that the America as was established with God over Government and not Government over God.

Michael, WI Strongly Disagree

... figments of the imagination ...

January 27,2004

God and Satan are figments of the imagination - the most profound of psychotic delusions!

Linnie, TX Disagree

... treating others as I want to be treated ...

January 27,2004

I do not regularly attend a church. I make my decisions based on treating others as I want to be treated and doing something for this world that has done so much for me. I don't need to believe in a God to do what I believe is right.

Rick, IL Strongly Agree

... foundation of God to be crumbling ...

January 27,2004

It sadness my heart to witness our country that was built on the foundation of God to be crumbling under what is now know as a country that is politically correct. When I was young I once feared Racism against blacks. Now I feared that racism against Christ! That form of racism will destroy us all!

Pat, OH Strongly Disagree

... What better to base ...

January 27,2004

Faith plays a large role in my daily life. What better to base my decisions on!

Frances, SC Strongly Agree

... Why shouldn't I ...

January 27,2004

Why shouldn't I make most of my decisons based on guidance from the all-knowing creator of the universe and savior of my life. Anyone who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ would say the same.

Chris Sull, MO Strongly Disagree

... American has always had the belief ...

January 27,2004

With respect to all Theologians,Media, Politicians.

The the statement of ones recognition of a Power Higher than Mortal, in this case GOD, is a positive statement of belief.
Not a RELIGION.

RELIGION is a term for a group of people collectivly, under the name of a particular, NAMED GROUP or CLUB, it in no way proclaims GOD! We need to seperate the Church and Religion, from GOD.
God is spiritual, and a great number have this belief. Not all belong to Church, the native American has always had the belief in a supreme being, GOD?
